Erectile dysfunction refers to a man’s inability to have penile erection needed for sexual intercourse and consequent sexual satisfaction. Some say it may be caused by a more serious medical condition, as when there is really something wrong with the man’s penis that it really is not capable of erection. Others attribute it to psychological factors that adversely affect sexual mood. Some also say erectile dysfunction is caused by chemicals in drugs being taken by the person thus afflicted. There are treatments tried over the years ranging from injections until its evolution into oral medicine. One example of an impotence drug is Levitra. Levitra is said to be an impotence drug with an even a higher success rate than other commonly known erectile dysfunction drugs. This drug should be taken upon medical advice, though because the patient’s accurate medical history is required to ascertain that Levitra will not have any adverse effect on him.
